easter 2024
day one
for the first day of the 2024 easter camp edition, the players were split into two groups. one group underwent a series of physical tests to determine their physical power - an important factor in basketball which we will continue to monitor across our camps. these exercises included agility, strength and endurance tests which were designed by the professor. the other group had a training session in the outside courts of ta’ qali which focused on finishing and ball handling.
following a break, the players had a physical training session also conducted by the professor which was followed by coach sasha’s training session focusing on their scoring ability.
day two
the second day consisted of two sections. the first section consisted of a training session followed by a physical session by the professor. the second session had another training session by coach sasha followed by some 5v5 games which acted as a warm-up for their future competitions.
The second section started with some light stretching and conditioning by the professor and the 5v5 competitions were underway. the playoffs of this competition was decided this day.
day three
the final day of the camp started with some plyomterics, led by the professor. after the intense physical session, the players rested well as they competed in the 5v5 competitions. the camp then came to a close as the players were presented with medals certificated and trophies.
